Good bread and butter sliced pickles work best for this recipe. The ground meat needs to be seasoned well to give it that juicy burger taste. Just remember to use lean meat as you do not want a greasy salad. I used lean ground beef in this recipe, however you can also make the Big Mac salad with lean ground chicken. I use sliced onions in the Big Mac salad and finely chopped onions in the dressing Burger Meat I find it gives it the most authentic Big Mac experience as opposed to other green leafy lettuce would.
